Rohto vs. Visine for Red, Sensitive Eyes

What’s up, everyone? It’s your boy E here, back with another video on Stay Litty 0420. Hope you’re all doing well. Today, I’m super excited to talk to you about something I personally use all the time—eye drops. Yes, you heard that right! We’re diving into the world of eye care, specifically for those of us who struggle with red, irritated eyes. Whether you're dealing with stony eyes or just have naturally sensitive eyes like mine, this video is for you.

Why I Need Eye Drops: A Quick Backstory

Let me tell you a bit about why eye drops are so crucial for me. My eyes get red super fast, like, ridiculously fast. They’re extremely sensitive. I remember back in elementary school, every time I yawned, my eyes would get all watery and red, and people would think I was either crying or, later on, smoking something I shouldn’t be. But nah, it was just a yawn, folks! It’s been like this my whole life, so eye drops have become an essential part of my daily routine.

Let’s Go Shopping: Eye Drops Galore at Target

Alright, so today, I’m taking you with me to Target. We’re going on a little shopping trip to pick up my go-to eye drops. If you live in the U.S., chances are there’s a Target near you, and you know they have everything. When it comes to eye drops, though, the selection can be overwhelming. There are so many different kinds, but I’ve got it down to two that I trust and use regularly: Visine Clear Eyes Maximum and Visine Redness Relief.

These two are my top picks, but I’m feeling a little adventurous today, so I’m going to decide between the green one or the blue one. Both of these are great, but they have different effects, which I’ll explain in a bit. Stick around to see which one I choose!

Why Do They Check IDs for Cough Medicine?

Before we dive deeper into the eye drops, I’ve got a quick question for you all. It’s been bugging me—why do they always check your ID when you’re buying cough medicine? Like, what’s the deal with that? Is cough medicine really that dangerous? I mean, I’ve heard that some people drink it to get drunk, which is pretty wild. I guess you can even overdose on it, which is super scary. If anyone knows the reason, drop a comment below and let me know!

Our Favorite Eye Drops: A Detailed Review

Alright, let’s get back to the main topic—eye drops. Adrian, my partner, swears by Clear Eyes Maximum. It’s the Visine version, and it’s super popular. A lot of people use it because it’s effective and doesn’t break the bank. I use it a lot too, especially when I need to clear up my eyes quickly. The only downside is that it can sometimes feel like it doesn’t last as long as I’d like.

Now, let’s talk about my personal favorite—Roto. This one is a bit controversial in our household because Adrian hates it. Why? Because it burns like crazy! Yes, it stings when you put it in, but man, does it work. It clears up your eyes fast, and it has other benefits too, which I’ll get into.

Breaking Down the Roto Options: Red, Green, and Blue

In the last clip, you saw the three Roto options—red, green, and blue. We decided to go with the blue one today. Here’s the scoop on these:

  • Red Roto: This one is known for clearing out your eyes and whitening them. It’s great if you’re just looking to reduce redness, but it doesn’t have any extra benefits.

  • Green Roto: Similar to the red, the green one also clears your eyes and whitens them. It’s a solid choice if you want something gentle that gets the job done.

  • Blue Roto: This is the one I picked today. Yes, it burns, but it’s incredibly effective. It not only clears up redness but also has additional benefits that make it worth the sting. Plus, you only need one drop, and you’re good to go.

Time to Try the Eye Drops: Live Demonstration

Okay, now that we’ve got the eye drops, let’s put them to the test. I’m going to put a drop of Roto in one eye and a drop of Visine in the other so you can see the difference. I’ll fast forward through the application with some tunes in the background.

So, I just put the drops in. As usual, the Roto stung a bit, but my eyes already feel better. I took a hit right after, and you’re probably wondering—do my eyes turn red again? It really depends on how sensitive your eyes are. For me, they stay pretty clear, which is why I keep using Roto despite the burn.

Final Thoughts: Which Eye Drops Should You Try?

Both of these eye drops work really fast, so it’s just a matter of personal preference. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind a little sting, I highly recommend trying the blue Roto. But if you prefer something milder, go with the Visine.

I’ve linked both of them down below so you can grab them online without having to make a trip to the store. If you’re curious, I suggest getting all three colors of Roto to see which one you like best. We might even do a full comparison of all three in a future video.
