Lumify vs. Systane Eye Drops: Honest Review & My Nighttime Routin
I want to apologize for the technical issues in my previous video. For some reason, my camera completely shut off, and I'm having a hard time recording tonight. I’m not sure why, but it’s been a struggle. I even tried recording on my computer, which is what I’m using right now, so sorry if the quality is a bit grainy. I usually get better results with my iPhone.
Anyway, I just finished reviewing some eye drops, so these boxes are already open. First, I tried the Lumify eye drops, and I think they did make my eyes look more illuminated. Then, I used the Systane eye drops. I’ll put another drop in now so you can see.
Applying eye drops
Sorry, I always freak out a little when it comes to eye drops.
These eye drops are specifically for dry eyes, and I find them really helpful. One thing I don’t understand is why the bottles are so small. This Systane bottle is just over an inch tall, which feels tiny to me. I’ve had other dry eye drops where the bottles were even smaller, and I just think it would be easier to use if they were a bit larger. These cost around $12 or $13, similar to the Lumify eye drops.
On a side note, I’ve been having issues with my phone's storage. It has over 2,000 (actually, closer to 3,000) photos and videos, which I tried to import to my computer. But the process was taking forever, so I stopped it, and now it won’t resume. I was trying to make room for more videos, but I guess I’ll have to keep trying to import them later.
While I was waiting, I did my nighttime skincare routine—though I’m not showing that on camera because some things are best kept private! I also brushed my teeth, which reminds me of something my dental hygienist told me: If you use Sensodyne at night, don’t rinse your mouth out afterward. Just spit out the excess toothpaste and saliva. This might be TMI, but I thought it was worth sharing. Of course, I’m not a dental professional, so this isn’t medical advice—just something I learned and wanted to pass on.
That’s about it for tonight. Thanks so much to everyone who watches, subscribes, and likes my videos. I appreciate it! I’m sorry again if this video quality isn’t the best, but I’ll work on freeing up some space on my phone for future videos.
Speaking of which, in my next video, I plan to review the mascara with the primer that I used before. I’ll show you my eyelashes before and after applying it so you can see the results. I love watching videos from regular people who aren’t paid to endorse products, so that’s why I make content like this.
